Notice is hereby given that BASIS Texas, an open enrollment charter district, intends to acquire a food service vendor for its schools; BASIS San Antonio and BASIS San Antonio North. Click on the link for a Request for Proposal (RFP). RFP’s must be received on or before July 20th, 2015 at 12:00 PM for consideration.
BASIS Texas has amended the Request for Proposal (RFP) to extend the deadline. It will now consider RFP's that are received on or before July 27th, 2015 at 12:00 PM.

BASIS San Antonio is located in a beautiful facility at the heart of the growing Medical Technology Center. BASIS San Antonio opened for over 500 students, Grades 5-8, on September 3, 2013. Adding a grade level each year to through Grade 12, BASIS San Antonio offers the same rigorous academic program as our sister schools, BASIS Scottsdale andBASIS Tucson, taking into account the previous educational background of all incoming students.
The Lower School program focuses on building organizational and study skills and creating a deep knowledge base necessary for students to tackle the demanding AP-based upper school curriculum. Latin, general science and physical geography are introduced in Grade 5. Physics, chemistry and biology are introduced in Grade 6. Seventh graders have the opportunity to study French, Latin, Mandarin or Spanish.
The Upper School program is consistently ranked as one of the top 10 high school programs in the country by U.S. News, Newsweek, and The Washington Post. Students take honors or AP courses. BASIS San Antonio Upper School students begin taking Advanced Placement courses as early as the eighth grade and will take at least eight AP courses and six AP exams® by the end of their junior year.
